PEP to host Legislative Town Hall Meeting

Prowers Economic Prosperity will host an upcoming Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Lamar Community College with Colorado State Senator Larry Crowder (Senate District 35) and Colorado State Representative Kimmi Lewis (House District 64).

Residents are invited to join Senator Crowder and Representative Lewis to listen to updates from the most recent legislative session, ask questions and share thoughts on state and local issues.  Southeast Colorado residents may want updates on hot topics including transportation, education and rural healthcare, as well as learning more about State regulations relating to the local landfill issues and energy development.

Eric Depperschmidt Executive Director of Prowers Economic Prosperity explained, “While our state legislature faces many issues, our Representatives encourage their constituents to participate in finding solutions for local problems in our communities and Southeast Colorado.”
